One of the last books I read in September was Jasmine Guillory’s latest release, Drunk On Love. I have enjoyed all of her books, I’ll read anything she writes at this point. This one was fairly good but definitely not my favorite from her. Party of Two is my # 1.
Margo co-owns a winery with her brother. She meets a younger guy named Luke at a bar and they spend a night together. The next morning surprise, he’s the new employee her brother hired.
🍷Black romance
🍷Napa winery setting
🍷 One Night Stand to Friends to Lovers
🍷 Boss/Employee
🍷Age gap (she’s 35, he’s 28)
🍷Open door romance
I listened to the audiobook. The book is dual POV and there are two narrators. It wasn’t my favorite narration though. If you read a mix of audio vs text I would suggest maybe going with print or ebook for this one. Or like borrow the audio from the library.
Shout out to my roommate for being a wine drinker so I had these bottles around for the photo. I barely drink at all and I’ve never really found a taste for wine. If you do like wine, what’s your favorite?
