LOVE AND OTHER WORDS đâïž
âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž/5
This book was an absolutely perfect read for fall. The characters, the setting, the storyline, was all perfect. Elliot and Macy were a perfect match from the very beginning, and seeing their relationship unfold from such a young age was honestly really sweet and adorable. And 14 year old Elliot might be my favorite thing đ I loved how something that connected Elliot and Macy was reading, because that was something I think all of us readers can relate to/hope to relate to. I loved getting to see both timelines, from the present and from when they were kids. And throughout the whole story I was so anxious to read about why they fell out in the first place, but I also didnât want to know đ the reason was extremely heartbreaking to say the least because when you stop and think about it, it really is quite horrible what happened, but I canât spoil it so that probably doesnât make sense đ„Č and if teenage Elliot was amazing, adult Elliot was even better đ seeing him and Macy finally find each other again was so special and I really loved every second of it, and I wish I could read more about them.
The one thing I didnât particularly love was that at times Elliot and Macy didnât communicate very well which was kind of frustrating đ but I guess thatâs part of what makes it a good story, they werenât perfect. But either way this was a five star read and I recommend it to everyone đ«¶đ»
